Introduction

January marked a pivotal start to 2025 for Arkreen. As we wrapped up 2024 with a comprehensive annual summary, we quickly shifted focus to introduce our 2025 strategic overview to the community, setting the stage for the year ahead. This momentous shift builds upon Arkreen's success in redefining the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) with renewable energy and on-chain economies, positioning us as leaders in the green energy revolution.

State of Arkreen Green DePIN — 2024 Annual Report

2024 was a landmark year, establishing Arkreen as the foremost DePIN energy project. From launching our Mainnet to deploying 190,385 Green Energy Data Nodes and issuing over 131,000 MWh of Renewable Energy Certificates (REC), Arkreen demonstrated substantial progress in driving decentralized energy solutions.

Arkreen continues to enhance solar energy integration through our collaboration with Home Assistant. This partnership allows users to connect their solar PV systems with Arkreen's decentralized energy data network. We're also laying the groundwork for AI-driven energy optimization and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) networks.

2) 2025 1st CSP Content Competition Champions

The first round of the Green Node Competition was a success with all spots filled, reinforcing Arkreen's growing influence in the green energy space.

Plug for Green Program (PGP)

Our PGP Program reached a new all-time high with 114,080 $AKRE in daily green rewards, with 7,017 Total PGP Offset Actions and 49,430.6 kWh Offset Brown Energy, marking a major milestone in our green energy rewards initiative.
Next target: 10,000 total offset actions!
A total of 2,829,680 AKRE rewards in the last 30 days.

Community Highlights

  1. $AKRE Burn Plan: In January, Arkreen successfully burned 5M $AKRE tokens as part of our commitment to enhancing the token's value.

  2. On-ART Issuance Campaign: Our community has been incredibly active, with 584 participants and 780 issuances in just one day. By January 7th, we surpassed 30,000 ART issuance transactions and reached a new all-time high of over 40,000 within just 10 days.
    Over the past month, we’ve distributed 1,602,868 $AKRE to community members supporting green initiatives.
    1000 Daily On-Chain ART Issuances – ATH: We hit a record 1,000 daily on-chain ART issuance transactions, achieving new milestones in community engagement and green action!
  3. 20X Points, Full Speed Growth: Starting January 29th, we’re accelerating our On-Chain ART Issuance campaign into February, offering up to 3,000,000 $AKRE in rewards for participants.
