Arkreen Network is a Web3-powered digital infrastructure for globally-distributed renewable energy resources for connection and monetization to enable carbon-reduction applications.

Arkreen Network, enabled by Web3 methodology, utilizes its renewable energy resources smart data logger called “Arker” to provide adaptability, privacy, and security. Arker connects different types of equipment, collects data from edge devices, and controls resources to better anticipate and respond to grid demand. Arker is a hardware gateway designed for the Arkreen Network to connect devices and equipment of different types, brands, and regions. Arker can be retrofitted and integrated to suit various application scenarios and offers chip-level security and trusted data.

As an Infrastructure-as-a-Service(IaaS) solution for renewable energy, Arkreen Network will connect as many as possible underlying resources to create a global assets pool and offer IaaS services for applications such as Renewable Energy Certificates, Virtual Power Plant utilization, and EV charging column sharing. These carbon reduction applications are all for energy sector decarbonization.

Regenerative applications have been under exploration for years; unfortunately, this market is both highly-monopolized and fragmented, thus curtailing the innovation process. From power generation, and distribution transmission, centralized fossil fuel-powered energy models have been around for 100 years with efficiency, stability, and predictability. However, we are witnessing a transition in the name of decarbonization, accelerating with more renewable energy resources being deployed globally. The expanding global power sector is reshaping into a more digital, decentralized and decarbonized playing field, with trillions of opportunities emerging due to this worldwide energy mega transition.

A Web3-powered multidisciplinary infrastructure is a new economic model that bootstraps heavyweight infrastructures in a bottom-up and cost-efficient manner. Disruptive technology, such as the Helium network, which built up a global LoRaWan network within two years, shows us a textbook framework from which to build a Web3 Energy Infrastructure. Web3 eliminates the monopolistic cost threshold of Web1 and the monopolistic exploitation of data from Web2. This is a fundamental paradigm shift for digital age infrastructures, and each individual can join as a builder and benefit from their contributions.

Distributed renewable resources and a deregulatory trend give more room for energy utility innovation. The Arkreen Network, pillared by Web3 and IoT, is exploring the unknown continent of crypto-physical for energy sector decarbonization.
