Future3 Workshop1 in Hong Kong: Arkreen’s Leo Lin Explores Web3.0 and DePIN alongside Prominent Mentors

The Future3 Workshop1 (DePIN Theme), organized by Future3 Campus and co-initiated by Wanxiang Blockchain Laboratory and Hashkey Capital with strong support from arkreen and Zillion Intelligence, successfully took place in Hong Kong from July 1st to July 2nd.

Esteemed mentors with extensive expertise in Web3.0 and DePIN, including Wanxiang Blockchain’s Chairman, Dr. Xiao Feng; Head of Wanxiang Blockchain Laboratory, Du Yu; Research Manager at the Office of Chief Economist of Wanxiang Blockchain, Peter Wang; Head of Product at Wanxiang Blockchain, Patty Tu; Founder of arkreen, Leo Lin; and Isabella from Protocol Labs Asia, provided valuable guidance on Web3.0 entrepreneurship. They also shared industry opportunities with entrepreneurs from diverse fields such as the Internet of Things, smart wearable devices, and energy conservation in Hong Kong.

Leo Lin, the founder of arkreen, emphasized that DePIN serves as a distributed, secure, and transparent infrastructure network that bridges the supply side and demand sides. The key elements of the DePIN project encompass physical infrastructure networks, off-chain computing infrastructure, blockchain architecture, and incentive mechanisms. Noteworthy DePIN projects like Helium, Hivemapper, DIMO, and others serve as valuable case studies. Leo offered insightful advice to entrepreneurs in the DePIN field, recommending massive global deployment, identifying economic narratives with network effects, developing easily deployable standardized hardware, and developing easily deployable standardized hardware for users to install and maintain by themselves.

Future3 Campus, a Web3.0 innovation incubation platform co-initiated by Wanxiang Blockchain Laboratory and HashKey Capital, is dedicated to three key themes: Web3.0 Massive Adoption, DePIN, and AI. It operates globally within the Web3.0 ecosystem and will soon launch a $50 million seed fund to support the incubation of Web3.0 projects, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in this dynamic field.
