Impact for Africa: Arkreen and Solar Foundation’s Clean Energy Partnership
Arkreen, a pioneer in web3-powered renewable energy infrastructure, and the Solar Foundation @Solar_FND , a leading non-profit advancing solar energy solutions, have announced a collaborative partnership aimed at expanding access to clean energy and maximizing its impact, especially in developing communities. This partnership highlights their joint efforts to drive meaningful change across Africa.

The Solar Foundation has already funded a solar project for the Ayoweca community in Uganda @ayowecca_uganda. Arkreen, leveraging its DePIN+ReFi integrated innovation, plans to monetize the green asset data from Ayoweca through impact-to-earn of Community Solar Program (CSP). This approach not only enhances social impact but also accelerates global climate action.
This collaboration aims to empower impact for Africa, where community users from developed regions can purchase environmental credits issued by users in developing regions for voluntary carbon neutrality. This will support funding for the Solar Foundation and local NGOs to increase access to the positive impacts of renewable, clean and decentralized solar energy.
