Welcome, Solar Powerusers! Arkreen is preparing for a significant leap forward, and your participation can help us achieve it. We are seeking raw, unedited footage clips to use for our marketing material, showcasing the best aspects of the project and its scope. This competition provides an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to our journey toward a greener future.
Participation and Compensation
- Baseline Compensation: Each participant will receive a baseline compensation for their qualifying content. This is reviewed to ensure everyone contributing valuable footage is rewarded for their efforts.
- Competition: Participants will also have a chance to enter a competition for additional prizes, fostering a sense of community and friendly rivalry and make it worth their time.
Eligibility
- Who Can Participate: All existing CSP owners, including those currently in the process of onboarding. This inclusivity ensures that all CSP Solar members of our community can showcase their contributions.
Content Criteria
For qualifiers to the baseline compensation, each participant can submit a maximum of one video in each of the following three categories. Note that resubmission of clips provided during CSP onboarding is not allowed:
- Roof Solar Shot: A 20-second video showing clearly visible solar panels on the roof. This highlights solar installations and their visual external appeal to your home.
- Arkreen Tech Shot: A 20-second video featuring the Arkreen smart meter and related technology, such as the inverter, powerline, and battery. This showcases the technical infrastructure that supports our renewable energy efforts and commitment of solar owners.
- Complementary Theme Shot: A 20-second video of related themes, such as in-house technology, cleaning panels, a hand operating the SmartOwon app on a phone, EV charging, LED display on the inverter, and more. This category allows creativity and demonstrates the practical applications of our technology. Each owner can send in multiple more clips for a chance for extra appearances in the Arkreen Marketing, but those will be a pure act of dedication and not further be compensated or take part in the competition.
Quality Requirements
- Resolution: Videos must be a minimum of 1080p and can go up to 4K max, ensuring high-quality footage for our marketing materials.
- Frame Rate: Videos should be between 25–60 fps for cinematic effect or smooth playback.
- Stability: Avoid shaky footage by using a tripod, mount, or stable support. Steady shots ensure professional-quality videos.
- Bonus: Additional recognition is available for footage that includes gliding shots, camera movements, and interesting angles, which can enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
- Privacy: To protect identity and for versatile usage, do not show human frontal faces. Instead, focus on hands doing tasks or people facing away from the camera. Ensure no sensitive or private information is visible (e.g., mask EV number plates, cover house numbers with some decoration).
Bounty and Rewards
Participants will be compensated as follows:

Competition Prizes
- 1st Place: 30,000 $AKRE + Discord Rank as “Innovator”
- 2nd Place: 15,000 $AKRE + Discord Rank as “Specialist”
- 3rd Place: 6,000 $AKRE + Discord Rank as “Artist”
Submission and Review Process
- Bounty Payment: Bounties will be paid upon receiving and verifying the quality of the footage. This ensures immediate recognition of contributions.
- Competition Prizes: Prizes will be awarded at the end of the 3-month competition period (alternative suggestion 6–8 weeks). Early submissions may receive honorific features and mentions, adding prestige and recognition within the community.

The competition results will be determined by community voting, emphasizing marketability and visual appeal:
- 80% by the Arkreen Team
- 20% by the community
